Our Pastor
Hello, My name is Tim Wilbanks and I am the pastor here at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
I was born and raised in Georgia. I accepted God’s call into ministry at age 17 and have followed Him in that direction for 44 years. In 1979, I moved to Denver to attend seminary. In my local church home, I met my wife, Sheresa. We were married on September 30, 1982. We have two children; Chase age 35, and Keilan age 33. Sheresa is a choral music teacher of 20+ years. Chase is a chef in Denver. Keilan is employed in the cell phone industry. I enjoy Golf and riding horses with Sheresa in my spare time.
I love resort ministry. I believe that in times of “recreation” God touches our lives in unique and powerful ways. Worship, Fellowship, relationship building in a relaxed setting such as Vail, Beaver Creek, and the entire valley offer a blessed opportunity to strengthen our connection to our Lord, Jesus Christ. I look forward to the time we have together and believe God will do a great work in us and through us. Blessings to you, In Jesus Name!
Our Elders
Elders comprise a team called to serve together to do God’s work. This team is called The Session, essentially our board of directors. Elders serve with the members, staff, and pastor, according to their gifts, to do ministry in the church and community. Elders share authority with one another according to their gifts.
