CPC Family and Friends,

As we are preparing for Thanksgiving and the Christmas Holidays I find myself thinking about all the blessings The Lord has given to us. The sweetness of our fellowship, Our welcoming spirit in worship, Our hands in ministry, the truth of the gospel that we seek to live daily. I am truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church! I pray that each of your will feel the blessing of Thanksgiving and Christmas this year in very special way.

We also begin looking forward to all the Lord has for us in 2017. New opportunities in worship and ministry! New areas of service.  Deepening of our relationships.

In closing the 2016 year we find ourselves in a similar situation to previous years, a little under budget for the year. December is the month where we typically make up much of our budget needs and again this year we need a big December.  Please keep our church budget in your prayers for the Lord to meet our needs and prepare us for the new year. I have full assurance that we will finish the year strong and that Christ will be glorified through His people.

As the scripture says, “I think of you often with great gladness of heart and pray for the Lord to bless you and keep you!”

Blessed to be your pastor,

The annual meeting on January 31st was a success; as we reviewed the accomplishments of 2015 and set our sights on the New Year.

Join with us in prayer that CPC will remain faithful and follow the Lord’s leadership in ministry this year.
As you have opportunity please join us for worship each Sunday, and our ski days as well.

December Newsletter

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Everyone!
December is always a magical time in Vail and Beaver Creek. Many of you are returning to celebrate the Christmas season and the ski season. The villages are being to fill with people and you can just feel the difference in everything around here.  Also with the New Year approaching the anticipation of new opportunities brings excitement as well.
During the next few days make sure you take a moment to reflect upon the meaning of Christmas.  Think about your family and friends. Pray for those in need. If you would like go the website and listen to the sermons in the Advent preparation.  I pray that God will bless you greatly as we close out the year.
Look at the Calendar and see the opportunities to worship and serve.
A few items to be praying for; Pray for our financial needs, (we are still very short of budget). Pray for those on our prayer list with physical needs, and especially those with emotional needs. Christmas can be especially difficult for families and individuals going through heartache. I would like to ask you to pray for Sheresa. She has to have another back surgery and will miss the Christmas season up here.
May the Peace of Christmas give you warmth this December!
Blessed to be your Pastor,
